A burst of tropical sunrise captured in petal form, this vibrant bloom features six broad outer petals in a rich tangerine hue, each finely etched with darker veins. From the clean white throat, a striking stripe of warm yellow radiates outwards, blending seamlessly into the orange and giving the flower an inner glow. Beyond the main six, a few extra petaloids cluster around the golden anthers at the centre, creating a lovely semi-double effect that adds depth without losing its classic star shape. This is a variety that thrives in the humid monsoon climate, opening reliably after a good shower and holding its intense colours beautifully, making it an excellent choice for a prominent pot display or as a bold accent in a mixed planting.
